Four Seasons Psychiatry

Grounded in Meaningful Connection

It is easy to feel lost in the modern healthcare system where you are often treated as more of a number than a person, are sent to a different doctor for each symptom, and have to relay information from one to the next. At Four Seasons Psychiatry we view the human being as an intricate field of interconnected systems that has a natural inclination toward healing under the right conditions. The team's approach is deeply rooted in integrative care, leveraging a biopsychosocial model to address both physical and mental health. Our treatment team carefully curates the best environment possible to support this delicate process, while artfully helping you to remove obstacles that are in the way of optimal health.

We prioritize human connection, while adopting a therapeutic framework that emphasizes trust, collaboration, and empathy. Our team strives to create a therapeutic alliance where patients feel empowered to engage in their healing process. Our clinic offers a warm and nonjudgmental environment where you can take a moment to pause amidst your busy day.

We celebrate diversity and welcome people of all cultures and identities. We brought together a diverse group of practitioners who have experience working with people with a wide range of identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences. We are committed to doing our part to address the longstanding inequity present in the fields of medicine and healthcare. This includes hiring a diverse staff, doing our own work, and treating everyone who walks through our "doors" with warmth and openness.

We are a growing team of psychiatric mental health providers and psychologists. While psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, and prescribing psychologists are trained in various therapy modalities, they also specialize in diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions using prescription medications. Our sessions include brief therapy, though many find that combining our psychiatric care with regular sessions with their counselor, therapist, or psychologist is most effective. We collaborate closely with your preferred therapy providers to ensure coordinated care.

Our psychiatric evaluations focus on assessing the need for medication treatment. These sessions last up to one hour and involve discussing your mood, personal history, medical conditions, and family background to collaboratively determine the most appropriate treatment plan. Neuropsychological testing is a comprehensive evaluation (up to 8 hours) of cognitive functions, such as memory, attention, problem-solving, language, and executive functioning, to assess how well the brain is working. It is typically conducted by a neuropsychologist in person, and involves a series of standardized tests and tasks. This type of assessment helps diagnose a range of conditions, including brain injuries, dementia, learning disabilities, ADHD, and other neurological or psychiatric disorders. The results are used to guide and create treatment plans, educational strategies, and other forms of support tailored to the individual's cognitive strengths and weaknesses.

Yes, medications will be sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy. You will receive refills so you do not run out between visits.

  • If you are changing providers, your new prescription medication will be fillable 30 days after the State’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program shows the last controlled medication was filled.
  • We do not authorize early refills of controlled medications
  • A urine drug screen is part of the evaluation and ongoing treatment.
  • Monthly telehealth visits are needed for continuation/refills of controlled medications.
  • We do not prescribe above the FDA-indicated doses.
  • We require monthly heart monitoring, including blood pressure, and may include obtaining an EKG before initial prescription and at least annually.
